Darwin, July 10: Bangladesh's daunting Test cricket assignment with Australia is described as the start of "something really wonderful" by coach Dav Whatmore.
Bangladesh, whose 19 Tests have ended in 18 losses and a rain-affected draw, shape up to the top-ranked Aussies next week, but new coach Whatmore is full of positives.
The minnows face Steve Waugh's Australia in the first Test here from July 18.
Whatmore said his team would focus on making individual improvements, rather than the final result.
