New Delhi, June 02: Delhi recorded the season's hottest day today with the mercury soaring above 44 degrees Celsius. The Met office said the national capital registered 44.2 degrees which is three degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was 27.7 degrees.
The previous highest of the season was recorded on May 31 when mercury touched 43.8 degrees Celsius.
The capital has been witnessing a heat wave for the last four days. It had recorded 43.7 degrees yesterday.
The Met office predicted that the heat wave conditions would continue for some days. Bureau Report
