Salem, Oct 10: Tamil Nadu government has distributed Rs 80 lakh to sericulture farmers due to failure of crops, state rural industries minister R Pandurangan, has said. He said at a function here yesterday that under the area development programme 1000 farmers would be given training in sericulture. Earlier, the minister reviewed the progress of various schemes.
