Gopeshwar, Nov 15: Famous shrines of Kedarnath, Badrinath and higher reaches of the Himalayas experienced heavy snowfall since last night bringing down the temperature considerably in the entire mountainous region of Uttaranchal. Besides the two shrines, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Hemkund Sahib, Nandadevi, Chaukhamba, Mana and Niti passes received snowfall.
Chilly conditions also prevailed in Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Pauri Garhwal and Tehri Garhwal districts of the state.
Meanwhile, rain and cold winds gripped lower reaches and river valleys of Chamoli after a long dry spell. Bureau Report
