Bhilwara, Sept 27: Senior Congress leader Motilal Vora today said AICC has asked the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee to send list of probable candidates for the assembly elections later this year by September 30. "PCC has been asked to identify capable and winnable candidates and send the list of probables to Delhi," Vora, treasurer of AICC, said here. The Congress high command would ensure representation of all sections, including youths and women, while selecting candidates for the polls, Vora, who was on a two-day visit to Ajmer division as an observer, said. Expressing confidence that Congress would return to power in all the five states going to polls this year, he said people would give a befitting reply to the "communal forces".
Praising the Rajasthan government in handling the drought situation efficiently, Vora criticised the Centre for, what he described as, "discrimination" in extending help to fight the natural calamity.
