Hospet (Karna), Oct 10: Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna today accused the Centre of "converting" CBI into an instrument to wreak vengeance for prosecution of individuals
who were "politically-inconvenient" to it.
"This is a very sorry development. Government of India cannot afford to convert CBI into an instrument to wreak vengeance" he said.
Krishna, while answering queries by reporters during "Janaspandana" programme to interact with people said," as long as Mayawati was with BJP, she was all right. She became corrupt the moment she fell out". Flaying the "targeting" of Jogi, he said, after elections were declared in Chatisgarh, the CBI has filed a chargesheet. "This is not the role of CBI", Krishna remarked.
