The justice Nanavati Commission, in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, on Friday issued summons to former Prime Minister I K Gujral, coal and mines minister Ram Vilas Paswan and labour minister Sharad Yadav to appear before it as witnesses. The commission also summoned former union minister Madhu Dandavate, Bharatiya Janata Party leader K R Malkani, minorities commisssion vice chairman Trilochan Singh and senior advocate Shanti Bhushan on the basis of the statements and documents already before the panel.
