Agra, May 29: Archaeologists claim to have discovered the building in which Mughal emperor Akbar is said to have conducted his experiments in child psychology. The building, located near Fatehpur Sikri, is an octagonal brick structure with a stone facade, superintending archaeologist, ASI, Agra zone, Dr Mohammad said.

Akbar is said to have put a number of newborn babies in the room under the care of nurses to observe what language the children would speak on their own untutored by humans, Dr Mohammad said.
The building has been brought under preservation by the ASI, he said.
