New Delhi, Sept 10: Transforming itself from a manufacturer to a service provider, leading science company, DuPont, on Wednesday rolled out its safety consultancy arm in the country. "The company has identified Safety Resources one of its growth drivers in India," Roger Moore, President, DuPont Safety Resources (Asia Pacific), told reporters.
He said the company was eyeing a turnover of about $10 million from this business in next five years.
Moore said the company was looking at various sectors including oil and gas, processing industry, rail transportation and that it had already begun a dialogue with government for consulting them on rail safety.
Speaking on the occasion, Pankaj H Shah, president, DuPont India, said the company was also talking to aviation ministry and other ministries.
DuPont India is expecting a growth of 25 per cent in the current fiscal with the roll out of new businesses, he said without divulging exact figures.
