Mumbai, July 03: Electronics major Philips India has launched two new mobile phone handsets, `Philips 330' and `Philips 630', taking its total number of models to five in India. "The two new models have been launched to tap the growing mobile market in India, which grew by 92 per cent in 2002 from 54 lakh recorded in 2001", a Philips India release said, quoting general manager (wireless) Praveen Valecha.
The company plans to market the new models through its distributor, First Mobile India Pvt Ltd, which has presence in eight cities, he said. It would also be marketed through sub agents and other distributors, he added. Bureau Report
