Chandigarh, Oct 08: Vigilance Bureau officials today began questioning former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in connection with corruption cases against him and his family members, including his wife Surinder Kaur and son Sukhbir.
About 50 Vigilance Bureau officers led by DIG S Chhatopadhyay arrived at Badal's residence here and began the investigations.
Immediately after the investigating team arrived to examine him, Badal said he would be cooperating with the officials.
The former Chief Minister is being questioned regarding the properties owned by the Badal family in Chandigarh, Haryana, including the Orbit Resorts (Gurgaon) and farm-house at Balasa (Sirsa), Punjab and Delhi, sources said.
