Madrid, Oct 25: Zinedine Zidane admits he might not understand what his Real Madrid team-mate David Beckham is saying but couldn't wish for a better understanding on the football pitch.
"On the pitch we know what the other one is going to do. It couldn't be better," says the France International captain of the England skipper.
"But as I don't speak English and he doesn't speak Spanish we can't understand a word we're saying."
Zidane says Beckham quickly adapted to Spanish soccer after his 25 million pound (39 million dollars) move from Manchester United because he is a class player.
"He's a great player who has proved he can play in a position he's not used to."

Beckham has been playing in a central holding role since his move to Real instead of on the right in his Old Trafford days.

Beckham misses Real's match against Racing Santander today with a hamstring strain which could also force him out of their following match.

Beckham injured the muscle in their 2-0 win at Celta Vigo last Saturday and aggravated the problem during their 1-0 win over Partizan Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday.

It is Beckham's second injury of the season, following a foot problem last month which caused him to miss Real's Champions League match at Porto.
