US Navy SEALS stormed a Singapore-chartered container ship off the coast of Pakistan, handcuffing six crew members and injuring two, a news report said Wednesday.
The SEALS - an elite Navy special forces group - along with US Marines, were scouring the ship for terrorists and illegal weapons but failed to turn up anything, the Business Times newspaper reported.
The US military personnel last week used small craft to approach and board the ship, Kota Serajah, chartered by Singapore-based Pacific International Lines or PIL, the report said.

Six crew members were subdued, handcuffed with plastic bands and forced to lie face-down on the deck for about 30 minutes, the report said, quoting a PIL spokesman.
PIL public affairs officials could not immediately be reached for comment Wednesday. Bureau Report
