Rewa, June 14: BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu today expressed confidence his party would win by a thumping majority in the coming assembly elections in four states, including Madhya Pradesh.
Rewa, June 14: BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu today expressed confidence his party would win by a thumping majority in the coming assembly elections in four states, including Madhya Pradesh.
"The BJP will also make its presence felt in Mizoram, the fifth state where elections will be held," Naidu told reporters here.
The other three states apart from Madhya Pradesh, which will go to polls are Rajasthan, Delhi and Chhattisgarh. "The Congress had ruled the nation for 47 years while BJP had done so, for only five years," he said and claimed that the work done by BJP in this short period was much better than that by Congress. Now it was for the people to judge and decide which party can deliver the goods, he said. Naidu said the manner in which Madhya Pradesh Congress had yesterday issued chargesheet against the NDA government indicated that the chief minister had already conceded his defeat. Bureau Report
