Mumbai, Oct 24: Panun Kashmir, an organisation of Kashmiri Pandits, today condemned Centre's decision to appoint Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani for holding talks with separatist Hurriyat Conference chairman Maulana Abbas Ansari. "Panun Kashmir also condemns all those political parties who have supported this decision," Ashok Pandit, official spokesman of the organisation, said. Advani, who is also in-charge of the home ministry, would lower the dignity of his office by holding talks with the separatists, Pandit said in a statement here.
"We have once again conceded to the demands of the separatists and committed the same mistake time and again," he said and urged Advani to refrain from holding talks with the Hurriyat Conference leader. Referring to Advani's earlier statement that talks can only be possible when the terrorists lay down their arms, he asked, "where is the stance of the home minister gone?. We strongly feel that this is again a very big victory of the terrorists."
