New Delhi, Aug 13: Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd on Tuesday announced that Kotak Mahindra Investment Company Ltd PCC, a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd, has been rechristened Global Investment Opportunities Fund Ltd with effect from July 25, 2003. This follows its reconstitution from a private company to a public limited company effective June 13, 2003, the company said.
Kotak Mahindra Capital Company is a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Kotak Mahindra Bank had recently announced a 65 per cent growth in its first quarter net profit for the current fiscal to touch Rs 19.34 crore. The bank had ended the same quarter last year with a net profit of Rs 11.72 crore.
Its total income for the quarter also increased from Rs 53.44 crore in Q1 last fiscal to Rs 79.97 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2003.
