Mumbai, Sept 13: Nasir Ahmed, a prime suspect in the twin blasts on August 25 in the metropolis, who was killed in a police encounter here last night, had links with the Laskhar-e-Toiba and had planned bomb blasts in other parts of the city, a senior police official said today.
Police recovered important documents, gelatin sticks and detonators from Nasir and his accomplice, who were killed in the encounter at Matunga in central Mumbai, according to Joint Commissioner of Police Satyapal Singh here.
The identity of the second accused, however, is yet to be established, he added.
