New Delhi, Feb 18: National Conference, a constituent of National Democratic Alliance, today favoured putting Ayodhya case on "fast track" and said a court verdict or a negotiated settlement were the only two ways to find a solution. "We don't mind putting the case on a fast track before the judiciary. This is, of course, one of the solution that NDA parties have agreed in their common minimum programme," party president and MP Omar Abdullah told here.
He said that his party favoured the settlement of the issue through a judicial system or through a dialogue between the concerned parties.
"There cannot be any third solution," Omar said and added that the Centre had also made it clear that it would stick to these two parameters to resolve the issue.
Commenting on the judicial process, Omar said "the decision of the courts should be binding on both the parties and no one should say that if the verdict was not in their favour, they will not accept it." Bureau Report
