"It is such an important film in today's times. It is a must watch. All my friends loved the movie and thanked me for inviting them," Lakshmi told IANS, adding it's a "fun-filled and hard-hitting movie".

The screening was followed by an elaborate conversation between Lakshmi and the "Angry Indian Goddesses" team, which included its director and some members of the cast.

The film features an ensemble cast of Sarah-Jane Dias, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Anushka Manchanda, Sandhya Mridul, Rajshri Deshpande and Adil Hussain among others.

"Angry Indian Goddesses" will be releasing on December 4 along with Vishal Pandya's erotic thriller "Hate Story 3", which stars actors Zareen Khan, Daisy Shah, Sharman Joshi and Karan Singh Grover.
