Ayodhya: Next hearing of Joshi, others petitions on Jan 28
Lucknow, Dec 08: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court today fixed January 28 for further hearing of the five criminal revision petitions filed by Union Minister M M Joshi and five others challenging the Rae Bareli court`s framing of charges against them in the Ayodhya demolition case.

Joshi and five others challenging the Rae Bareli court's
framing of charges against them in the Ayodhya demolition
case.
A single judge bench comprising justice Y R Tripathi,
while posting the matter for further hearing on January 28
next, directed that the concerned parties could in the mean
time file counter rejoinder.
The court also directed to club with the criminal revision the petition filed by one of the main plaintiffs in the Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid title suits, Mohammad Hashim Ansari, challenging the Rae Bareli court order discharging Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani in the matter.
The Rae Bareli court had on September 19 last, while discharging Advani in the Babri Masjid demolition case, ordered framing of charges against six others including Joshi and VHP leaders Ashok Singhal and BJP leader Uma Bharti.
Joshi and five others against whom charges were ordered to be framed later moved the high court, which stayed the proceedings in the Rae Bareli court. Bureau Report
