Multan, Sept 12: Gunmen from rival tribes exchanged fire in a remote village in Pakistan's southern Sindh province, leaving three dead, police said today. The shooting occurred yesterday when Marri tribesmen allegedly attacked a village of the rival Lashari tribe, said Karim Dinoshar, a police official in the nearby town of Kotdeji. The three victims were Lashari tribesmen, who were killed by the suspected Marris who had come from a neighboring village, according to Dinoshar. There were no other injuries reported and no arrests have been made. Police were looking for those involved, Dinoshar said. Bureau Report
