Patna, Dec 08: Amid raging controversy over removal of D P Ojha as Director General of Police, an NDA delegation today submitted a memorandum to Governor M Rama Jois demanding dismissal of the Rabri Devi ministry.
The delegation also urged the Governor to instruct the state government to make public the police report on controversial RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin detailing his alleged connection with Pakistan's ISI and other anti-national activities.
The delegation led by NDA's Bihar convenor Nand Kishore Yadav submitted a five-page memorandum to the governor charging the RJD government with also being party to the anti-national activities of Shahabuddin by shielding and encouraging him.
"We drew the Governor's attention towards ISI spreading its network in Bihar and reports of increased smuggling of arms, drugs and fake currency in the state from outside the country and the state government turning a blind eye towards growing threat to internal security, Yadav told reporters emerging from the meeting.
The Rabri Devi ministry's anti-national activities have been established by the 100-page report submitted by removed DGP Ojha to the state government and hence the Governor should sack the government in national interest, he added.
Yadav said an NDA delegation would soon meet Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and submit a detailed report to them on the state government's anti-national activities and urge them to sack it. Bureau Report
