Ranchi, June 13: A special CBI court today rejected the anticipatory bail petition filed by Congress MP Rajo Singh, who was chargesheeted by the investigating agency in connection with the fodder scam cases, CBI sources said here. The court rejected the bail petition while hearing a case. Orders on a similar plea in another case were reserved by the special court till June 20 yesterday, they said. On June 7, Singh was chargesheeted in connection with withdrawal of Rs 187 crore and Rs 39 crore from Doranda (Ranchi) and Chaibasa (West Singhbhum) treasuries respectively. The CBI's allegation against Singh, who represents Bihar's Begusari Lok Sabha constituency, pertains to the period when he was a legislator. After the division of Bihar, 55 fodder scam cases were transferred to Jharkhand. Bureau Report
