Senior Hurriyat leader released
Jammu, July 17: Amidst Centre`s efforts to rope in separatist groups in a dialogue on Kashmir issue, PDP-Congress-led alliance government in Jammu and Kashmir has released senior Hurriyat Conference leader Gulam Nabi Hubi after two months of detention.

Hubi, a close associate of slain peoples conference chairman Abdul Gani Lone, was freed from high security Kotbalwal Central Jail here last evening, official sources said here today.
Hubi, who rose to fame when he launched a parallel Peoples Conference in Kashmir and expelled Sajad Lone and Bilal Lone, two sons of late Gani Lone in 2001, was arrested on February 9, 2001 and public safety act was slapped on him. Bureau Report
