33 Tibetans arrested in Kathmandu
Kathmandu, Oct 29: Thirty-three Tibetans, including seven children, travelling through Nepal enroute to Dharamsala in India were arrested here for not carrying valid travel documents, police said.

Police arrested the 33 Tibetans from a passenger bus
yesterday during a routine check in Kalimati area of
Kathmandu.
They were handed over to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) mission here, police said.
The Tibetans had entered Nepal through Lamjung district in west Nepal on Monday and were planning to visit Dharamsala with the hope of meeting their spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, they said.
Nepal had in May caused international furore by deciding to expel 18 Tibetan refugees to China despite appeals by the European Union, the UNHCR and the Tibetan government-in -exile in Dharamsala.
