Jammu, Sept 17: In a bid to attract youth for its upcoming recruitment drive in troubled Jammu and Kashmir, Indian Air Force (IAF) is conducting its first major "air show" here tomorrow, with various aircraft of the force set to put up a spectacular show. "The day long major air show by IAF is being conducted for the first time to attract youth force in J&K towards IAF for 6-days long recruitment drive here," defence spokesman, Lt. Col. Bhanwar Rathore today said.

To be staged at the Maulana Azad Stadium here, the air show organised by air force station, Jammu will be held from 0900 hours to 1800 hours, he said. Air show will include fly past by various aircraft like Mi-35/Mi-26/cheetah and aerobatics by Mig-29 aircraft, he said adding the air force sky diving team 'Akash Ganga' will be displaying their mesmerising skill.

In the air show fly past Mi-17 in VIC formation will carry national flag and air force flag. This will be followed by three cheetahs in VIC formation and another three Mi-35 in the same formation. Bureau Report
