New Delhi, Feb 09: Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna today called on Central Election Commissioner T S Krishnamurthy even as the talk of dissolution of the state assembly is in the air. Talking to newspersons after a brief meeting, Krishna however, termed his meeting as a 'normal courtesy call' and said he was not in a position to give any 'exciting news' to the media. He said the budget session of the assembly was on and the media would be informed of any decision that would be taken. On a statement by Karnataka Pradesh Congress president B Janardana Poojari indicating that the house would be dissolved. Krishna said he had not given a thought to the proposal. Answering questions on whether his meeting was connected with the dissolution of the assembly, the chief minister said for that there was no need for him to meet the CEC and that the house was in session.
