New Delhi, Nov 17: Apparently embarrassed by the Dilip Singh Judeo episode, BJP today launched a counter-attack on Congress demanding resignation of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi for his being indicted by CBI of alleged forgery of documents.
"Judeo has quit immediately after his name figured in the bribery charges. But Jogi is so adamant that he has still not resigned even after being indicted by CBI of forging documents," BJP general secretary V K Malhotra told reporters.
Maintaining that Jogi had committed an "unpardonable crime" by allegedly forging documents despite holding the high office of chief minister.
"Why isn't Congress seeking Jogi's resignation," he asked and asserted that BJP would raise this issue during its campaigning in all the four states.
Jogi is to appear before a court here tomorrow in connection with the case.
Malhotra said his party would also highlight the issue of alleged "corruption" charges against four Delhi ministers prompting their removal from the ministry.
