Mumbai, May 23: After creating ripples in the
modelling circuit and trying his hand at acting, Milind Soman
has now turned a producer with his maiden film `rules--Pyaar
Ka Superhit Formula'.
The film starring newcomer Meera Vasudevan opposite
Milind questions whether there is any set formula in life.
The film is being financed by crossover films, floated by
a New York based group and produced by Milind Soman's company
E-Motion pictures in partnership with Parvati Balagopalan.
Earlier, E-Motion pictures has produced several television
serials, including `Hu Ba Hu' and `Chhota Muh Aur Badi Baat',
a release said.
For Soman his tryst with films began with `Tarkeeb' in
1999, which did not make it to the box-office. `16 December'
which was released last year made an average impact. However,
lady luck finally smiled on him through `Agnivarsha' which
inspite of bombing at the box office got him nominated for the
best actor award.
As an actor, Soman would soon be seen in India's first semi-animated film `Bhagmati-Queen Of Fortunes', in Partho Gosh's `Surya' and Rajat Rawal's `Saazish', in which he plays negative roles. Bureau Report
