Raipur, July 18: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today said that he did not want to get into the controversy over VHP and RSS demand for construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya as the issue was being discussed at the BJP national executive meeting here. "Mein in vivadon mein nahi par raha hoon ... Charcha chal rahi hai (I am not getting into the controversy, the issue is being discussed at the national executive),” he told reporters on arrival at the airport here to attend the meeting.
The Prime Minister was replying to a question on VHP and RSS demand for building Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
With general elections less than a year away, the Bharatiya Janta Party`s top brass has begun its three-day national executive meet here today.

The focus at the meet is clearly Ayodhya, as the party is in fact expected to pass a resolution, which will try and find a balance between the government`s viewpoint on Ayodhya and the VHP`s demand for legislation.
