Thirty people were killed and 19 injured in northwest China after a bus plunged off a cliff into a river, state media said on Friday.
The bus, carrying 49 passengers in all, fell down the 30 metre cliff into the Jialing River late on Thursday evening after it left a main road in Fengxian country, Shaanxi province, the Xinhua news agency said.
Rescuers and medical workers went to the scene and all the injured were taken to hospital. The bus belonged to a company in the neighbouring province of Gansu, Xinhua said.
It was not yet known what caused the crash and an investigation had begun, the agency added. Bureau Report
