Germany, Aug 22: Race stewards will question McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari's Rubens Barrichello on Friday as they attempt to determine who was to blame for the first-lap collision at the German Grand Prix. The meeting was called after it was decided to water down the penalty handed out to Williams driver Ralf Schumacher for his part in the crash at Hockenheim. Schumacher's punishment of being dropped 10 positions from his qualifying spot at this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix was dropped in favour of a £33,000 fine.
But Raikkonen and Barrichello will still have to explain their part in the incident after data from accident recorders was presented at Schumacher's appeal hearing on Tuesday.
All three drivers appeared at a news conference at the Hungaroring on Thursday, with Schumacher saying he was happy with the outcome and still considered it a racing incident.

"It was a very new experience and hopefully last in my Formula One career, but it was very well dealt with," he said.
"The hearing proved to be a fair and transparent review of all the factors that culminated in the incident and the team can now turn its full attention to the following race in Budapest."
"The court decided that the case should be referred back to the panel of the stewards of the German Grand Prix so that the conduct of Rubens Barrichello and Kimi Raikkonen can be considered in the light of the evidence from Mr Wright."
