Prince Charles visits HMS Kent, INS Delhi
Mumbai, Nov 03: Prince Charles was today accorded a royal welcome as he stepped into HMS Kent and INS Delhi, an Indian destroyer class warship, anchored off the Mumbai naval dockyard, this evening.

Prince Charles, who arrived from Jodhpur in a special chartered Indian Airline flight, drove straight off to the naval dockyard to pay a visit to the British and Indian vessels.
Dressed in a pristine white naval uniform, the Prince was greeted by the Vice Admiral Madanjeet Singh, on his visit to INS Delhi.
The heir to the British throne also took a guard of honour before taking a look at the vessel.
The Prince interacted with members of the Indian Navy for a brief while and also posed for photographs.
Charles also went aboard HMS Kent, a 23 type Duke frigate, currently in the city to undertake joint exercises with the Indian Navy.
The Prince, who was also presented with a guard of honour, was greeted by First Sea Lord Admiral Sir Alan West and Commander Simon Harden, commanding officer HMS Kent.
The Prince was also treated to a ceremonial band by both British and Indian naval bands. Bureau Report
