Srinagar, Aug 13: The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah has felicitated Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on his election as the 12th vice president of India. Describing Shekhawat as a political stalwart who served the country in various capacities, Abdullah said he would guide the nation sagaciously.
"The country will immensely benefit from the experience of Shekhawat," he said in a statement yesterday.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence in the political acumen of Shekhawat and hoped the country would benefit from his administrative capabilities.
