New Delhi: Would you expect someone to suffer two bear attacks in a matter of 10 minutes and come out of it alive? (Sounds like a scene from 'The Revenant', doesn't it?)

It seems highly unlikely, but not for Todd Orr. A resident of Bozeman city, Orr was out for a hike in Madison valley, on Saturday, scouting for elk. Well aware that southwest Montana is known to harbour bear population, Orr made sure to sound an alert every few seconds, so as to not surprise any bears.

As he made his way through the trail, a mother Grizzly bear with her cubs spotted him and charged at Orr.

Armed with a bear spray, he gave the Grizzly a full blast of it, but the bear attacked him completely undeterred.

Even though he got away with a few scratches, bruises and nasty bites, which he said felt 'like a sledge hammer with teeth', the bear caught up with him again after 10 minutes and attacked viciously a second time.

One cannot even begin to imagine what Orr must have gone through at that moment. Minutes after the second attack, in which he got terribly bitten down to his bones, he posted a bloody video as well as photographs of his wounds on his Facebook account, to warn people about the bears in that area.

Later, in the hospital, he also posted a detailed account of the attack, where he's mentioned all that conspired from the beginning of his hike till the time he reached the hospital and how he managed to survive.

His post now has more than 62,000 likes and has been shared more than 38,000 times.

Todd Orr survived after he had his head and abdomen smashed to the ground, his bone chipped and a 5-inch long gash above his ear where the bear clawed and bit his skin out, along with many chest bruises and facial abrasions.

Check out his detailed post, as well as the video he posted moments after he was attacked below, though we warn you, it isn't for the faint-hearted.
