Thirty-seven people were feared dead when a bus carrying 45 villagers plunged into a river in West Nepal, state television said. The television said that rescue teams searching for survivors had rescued eight people. The bus was travelling from Dangadi to Achham, about 500 km (300 miles) west of Kathmandu, the capital of the Himalayan kingdom. Bureau Report
