North Korea has dismissed its finance minister and central bank governor, Pyongyang's official Central Broadcasting Station Radio Service said.


The standing committee of the North Korean supreme people's assembly has upheld the decision, the radio said in a report on late Tuesday afternoon monitored in Tokyo by radio press.
The Stalinist nation sacked Finance Minister Yim Kyong-Suk and Central Bank President Jong Song-Thaek without giving any reason, radio press said.

Mun II-Bong, a member of the Supreme People's Assembly, was appointed the new finance minister while Deputy Finance Minister Kim Wan-Su was named the new central bank governor. Bureau Report
