The Samajwadi Party on Saturday charged the Bhartiya Janata Party-led government in UP with trying to "communalise" situation in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and spreading fear among minorities in the state. Reacting to recent incidents of violence in the university and subsequent police action, yhe party General Secretary and spokesman, Mr Amar Singh, said that the minorities were feeling insecure in AMU.
