Telecom workers to observe Sep 29 as black day
The national action committee of telecom organisation against corporatisation will observe September 29 as black day in protest against the move to corporatise the Department of Telecom Sevices.
The national action committee of telecom organisation against corporatisation will observe September 29 as black day in protest against the move to corporatise the Department of Telecom Sevices.
The black day will be preceded by a non-coporation agitation from september 26-28, a statement by the action committee said. It said the agreement between DoT and unions in 1997 regarding upgradations of pay scales, promotions is yet to be implemented.
The issues arising out of corporatisation like pension, commutation, GPF, leave are yet to be settled despite assurance by the communication minister, Ram Vilas Paswan, it said. Bureau Report
