Mumbai: Farhan Qureshi won the Mr National Universe 2018 title in Goa on Saturday.

The dashing young man, son of Fareed Qureshi, a tea seller in Bhopal, secretly worked as a model.

After winning the contest, Qureshi took to Facebook to share his excitement and thank all those who helped him bag the title.

He wrote: “It is not on the stars to hold our destiny it is in ourselves.”

On that note, I, thank all of you for supporting and voting for me and having faith in me. Special thanks to my Family and Friends for standing by my side as the pillar of my strength.

There are no exact words to express how grateful and thankful I am for all that you’ve done for me.”

He also shared a video that shows the winning moment.
