Reliance Jio Rs 500 phone : Here is what all to expect

New Delhi: Reliance Jio is planning to launch 4G feature phone soon, as per the latest buzz in the market. Going by the media reports, the launch of phone maybe somewhere later this month or by August 2017. However, nothing concrete has come out yet from the network service provider.

According to a report in the Economic Times, the 4G VoLTE feature phone, when launched, will cost something around Rs 500. The report further mentions that the launch of the phone will be in a phased manner and around 10 lakh phones will be introduced in the first phase.

Here are the expected features of the phone:

1)The phone will be marketed under Lyf brand of phones and launched in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries scheduled on July 21 in Mumbai.

2)The phone will be sold in the Reliance Jio and Reliance retail stores.

3)The phone will most probably come up with 512 MB RAM and internal storage of 4GB.

4) The phone is expected to carry 2-megapixel camera.

5) 4G VoLTE feature phone will be WiFi enabled and come with near field communications (NFC) technology. This will also help a customer to make digital transactions.
