New Delhi: Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi on Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Friday that the Congress VP has become a laughing stock because of his child-like remarks and obsessive desire for fame.
Adityanath's counter-attack comes after the Gandhi scion reportedly made an 'insipid' comment on the right-wing Hindu nationalist group RSS three days ago.
In a controversial remark, Rahul Gandhi had said that there were no "women in shorts in RSS shakhas". His statement drew sharp reactions from the BJP.
While campaigning in Valsad in Gujarat, the BJP leader also said that wherever Rahul goes for campaigning the Congress is sure to lose.
He said his party would easily get 150 plus seats in Gujarat elections because of the good work it has done in the state.
The development and the infrastructure work done in the state is a symbol of trust, the UP CM said. On the Ram mandir dispute, he said it was a poll issue in the UP elections.
