Saurashtra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday arrived at the Diu Airport from where he took a helicopter ride to the famous Somnath Temple.
Shortly after reaching there, PM Modi offered prayers at the Somnath Temple and also interacted with the head priests there.

Ahead of his temple visit, PM Modi also offered tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's statue in Somnath.

The Prime Minister later addressed a public meeting near Triveni Sangam.
Prime Minister Modi yesterday laid the foundation stone of Bharuch bus port in Gujarat.
He said only the people of the city who underwent a lot of trouble would understand the importance of the bridge.
"The world will not understand what it means to build a bridge here. The people of Bharuch, who have undergone so much pain, only they will understand its importance," he said.
Emphasising that India`s economy is getting new power on the soil of Bharuch, Prime Minister Modi said, "If the vision is clear, intentions right and ideas perfect, then nothing can hinder success."
