Chandigarh: It has not changed anything for senior IAS officer Ashok Khemka. The 1991 batch IAS officer was on Sunday again transferred by the Manohar Lal Khattar-led BJP government in Haryana.

Khemka has been appointed as the Chief Secretary in the Sport & Youth Affairs department.

Khemka, who has a doctorate in Computer Science besides a Master's degree in Economics and an MBA degree, expressed his pain on microblogging website Twitter saying, “So much work planned. News of another transfer. Crash landing again. Vested interests win. Déjà vu. But this is temporary. Will continue with renewed vigour and energy.”

In 2015 Khemka was transferred from the Haryana transport department and posted as secretary, archaeology and museums department and director general, archaeology and museums.

Khemka had then took to Twitter to express how painful the moment was for him in the middle of his efforts to address corruption in the transport department where he was currently posted.

Khemka, an IIT-Kharagpur graduate, was appointed as transport commissioner and secretary, transport department, November 2014 after Khattar assumed office as chief minister of the first Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state.

At that time, Khemka, who had blown the lid off from the controversial multi-million-rupee land deals of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra, was touted to get an important assignment. However, he was posted in the transport department.

Khemka, who expressed his pain over being transferred from the post of Commissioner-Secretary Haryana Transport department, saw his first posting last 11 months in Land and Revenue department in 1993 which was followed by a short tenure of a month in Agriculture and Cooperative department.

During his postings and transfers, Khemka, who shot into limelight after he questioned Robert Vadra's land deals in Haryana, has served 10 times in Land Revenue department in various capacities including the last one as Director General (Consolidation land holding) for a little over seven months days from July 18, 2012.
