Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's mother meets her son in jail for first time

Rohtak: Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's mother visited the Dera Sacha Sauda in jail on Thursday.

Incidentally, Naseeb Kaur was the first person to meet him since he was sent to the prison for 20 years in two rape cases. 

As per reports, she travelled in a car with a Rajasthan number plate and was with Ram Rahim for twenty minutes. 

Only driver Iqbal was said to be with Naseeb.

As per Amar Ujala, Ram Rahim asked his mother as to how things were at the Dera. She replied that everything was fine.

Naseeb had brought some clothes for her son, the Daily quoted sources as saying.

She was allowed to meet the Dera chief after due inquiries and sanitisation by authorities at Sunaria jail. 

After Ram Rahim's conviction, Naseeb along with Dera chief's wife Harjit Kaur and his daughters Charanpreet and Amanpreet and son Jaspreet moved from Sirsa to Gursar Modia village in Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, secret tunnels, including one which linked jailed Ram Rahim's plush residence with female disciples' hostel, an empty box of AK-47 cartridges, an illegal firecracker factory were detected during the Dera's search recently.

The Dera's sprawling headquarters include schools, a sports village, a hospital, a shopping mall and a cinema hall.

The property is also home to an ostentatious '7-star MSG resort' with replicas of Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, Kremlin and Disney World inside. 

There was large scale violence following the sect head's conviction which left more than 30 people dead in Panchkula and six in Sirsa.
