Haryana woman cut her husband into 8 pieces, packed them; jailed for 30 years

HARYANA: A woman has been sentenced to 30 years imprisonment by a court in Jhajjar town after she murdered her husband chopping him into eight pieces.

30-year-old Puja killed Baljeet, 38, in April last year in Jhajjar district's Asanda village.

Following the brutal murder, the woman reportedly packed her husband's headless body in a suitcase.

As per police investigations, Puja wanted to get rid of her husband as she had an extra-marital affair with another man.

On April 26, 2016, the victim's brother Kuljeet had lodged a complaint saying that his brother had gone missing.
