However, we don't come across many situations wherein a pregnancy is mistaken for a disease. In the case of Katie O’Brein, a UK citizen, this is exactly what happened.

The woman was left baffled after a what she thought was a kidney infection turned out to be a full-term pregnancy.

After complaining of a pain below her right hip, her doctor asked her to submit a urine sample, thinking it might be an infection.

To her utter bewilderment, she received a call from the receptionist at the clinic saying that the doctor thought she might be pregnant.

No one can blame Katie for believing her pregnancy to be something else since she said that she didn’t feel the baby move nor was there a baby bump in nine months, according to a report in the Deccan Chronicle.

24 hours after the call and discovering she was pregnant, Katie gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby boy, whom she and her boyfriend of four years have named Tristan.
