Shimla: Cold continued to grip the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, with Keylong recording a minimum temperature of minus 4.1 degrees Celsius. There are chances of snow, the Met said.
The headquarters of the Lahaul-Spiti district was the coldest in the state.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district saw a low of minus one degree Celsius, while it was 9.6 degrees Celsius at Dharamsala in Kangra, a Met office release said.
Shimla which was at a minimum of 7.5, also recorded a fall from Monday`s 8.5 degrees Celsius.
The Met office said the dry weather would continue in the mid-hills but there were chances of rain and snow in the higher reaches in Kullu, Kinnaur, Chamba and Lahaul-Spiti districts.
