New Delhi: Popular Marvel superhero Thor has a massive fan following across the globe. And the super success of its latest in the series Thor: Ragnarok is solid proof of it. The film is a sequel to 2011's Thor and 2013 hit Thor: The Dark World. It also happens to be the 17th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The film has done incredibly well in India and has even surpassed the lifetime collections of previous Thor films in the country. Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the latest figures. He wrote:

Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi and the screenplay is by Eric Pearson while the writing team comprises Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost respectively. The film has a starry ensemble cast with Hollywood hunk Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins playing pivotal parts.
Despite tough competition from a Bollywood flick Ittefaq, this Hollywood superhero film has managed to remain rock steady and did a fabulous business.
