Naidu met leaders on the floor of several political parties, highlighting the tussel between the Centre and the state. He also paid tribute at Gandhi statue in the parliament premises.

Later in the day, he'll meet TDP lawmakers attending the parliament session, stated an official party release.

TDP along with YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), raised a no-confidence motion against the Modi government at the Centre earlier in March over the government's failure to honour the 'promise' of granting special category status to the southern state and seeking a special financial package for it.

Meanwhile, TDP lawmakers have been protesting outside the Parliament, demanding SCS for Andhra Pradesh. Lok Sabha MP Naramalli Sivaprasad, who has gain lot of attraction for his unique style of protesting, on Tuesday dressed up as a folk dancer while demanding the special status along with his other party Mps.

Naidu on Monday held a teleconference meeting with his party MPs and strategy committee in Amaravati to discuss his first visit to Delhi after exiting National Democratic Alliance at the Centre.
